and friends are welcome to participate in the care as
the women desire.
Prenatal Care includes:
- complete physical
exam
- pap smear
- blood draws for
prenatal lab work
- regular visits -
extended (1-2 hours)

pressure/urine/weight checks, assessment of
baby's growth & position, listening to baby's
heartbeat as time permits and as desired
- other therapies
are incorporated, ie.

aromatherapy, art therapy

technological medical care ie. amniocentesis,
ultrasound, genetic testing chorionic villi
sampling, consultation with obstetrician/perinatologist

Birth Care - planned homebirth

Postpartum
